We are currently recruiting for the above detailed role on behalf of one of our major clients.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERTISE
  • Bachelors degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields OR equivalent experience.
  • Solid experience in a demand planning/forecasting role.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
  • Capability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • SAP software
  • Microsoft Excel; vlookup, pivot tables
REQUIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in supply planning, inventory management, or related supply chain roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Knowledge of supply chain software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supply Planning: Develop comprehensive supply plans based on demand forecasts, historical data, and production capacities. Optimise inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing excess stock holding.Demand Collaboration: Work closely with the Demand Manager and sales teams to understand customer demands, market trends, and upcoming promotions to align supply plans accordingly.Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, identifying potential risks of stockouts or overstock situations and implement strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels.Production Scheduling: Ensure production scheduling aligned with production teams to schedule manufacturing activities based on the supply plan and ensure timely delivery of finished goods.Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of raw materials, components, or finished products, resolving any supply-related issues.Data Analysis: Utilise various data analysis tools to assess supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement and develop actionable insights.Risk Management: Proactively identify potential supply chain disruptions and implement contingency plans to mitigate risks and maintain continuity in supply.Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times and optimise supply chain costs.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as Logistics, Procurement, and Quality, to foster effective communication and align supply chain efforts.Reporting: Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and present findings to management.
