  • This is a straight sales role - fantastic operational teams deliver the recruitment for the clients you bring in, so you won’t be involved with candidate interaction.


Sanctuary Graduates the Early Careers and Diversity Experts, are seeking an ambitious sales professional with some pre-existing recruitment sales experience to join our business development team as a Business Development Manager.


In return, we will offer a £30-40k basic salary (DOE) with uncapped commission and no threshold within a high-growth, high-yield position in our growing business. You will work alongside Sanctuary's MD and Director of sales who will provide 1-1 support and learning opportunities.

What is the role?

Main Aim: Bring new recruitment clients into the business for our brilliant operational teams to deliver the recruitment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying, qualifying, pitching and closing potential leads within certain verticals
  • Owning each vertical and unlocking the potential, using case studies and previous evidence of success and excellence
  • Pitching to a variety of clients including formal tender processes
  • Working closely with the operations team to renew and grow client accounts
  • Writing and sending our marketing content and optimising this process
  • Learning and absorbing industry trends and insights, and using these to improve the messaging to your potential clients
  • Spotting opportunities for growth
  • Your leads will be generated for you so you can spend more time selling and growing opportunities
  • You will receive 1-on-1 mentorship with a Senior Sales Director


What you will bring to the role:

  • Recruitment Sales Experience: proven recruitment sales experience with success in meeting sales targets
  • Interpersonal skills: Experience at building and growing client relationships

  • Quick learner: Someone looking to quickly absorb the specialist knowledge around them to be able to sell our products in a short timeframe
