Remuneration

• Salary: £27,000 - £35,000
• Annual performance-related bonuses
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays

Responsibilities

• Managing and overseeing the import and export of goods from various global locations.
• Organizing the collection process with designated transportation firms.
• Collaborating closely with clients, branch offices, international agents, and transportation providers, among other partners.
• Delivering exceptional customer service by addressing queries and providing timely updates.
• Overseeing order tracking, invoicing, and managing pre-alerts from overseas offices and agents.
• Handling Customs entries as required.
• Monitoring shipments until final delivery.
• Managing job costing and invoicing duties.

Requirements

• At least two years' experience with a UK-based freight forwarding company.
• Experience in import or export operations, including air, road, or ocean shipments.
• Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures.
• Practical experience with freight-related software such as Cargowise, Multifreight, etc.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
