Location: Sheffield, S11

Annual Salary: £23,000 - £25,000

Hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday; on a rota basis between the hours of 08:00- 17:00.

Contract: Permanent

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance Executive to join the Elevate Supply team. As a Compliance Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company adheres to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies. This role plays a critical part in maintaining legal and ethical standards within the organisation.

You will play a pivotal role in driving our digital offering to schools and teachers across England initially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the vetting and screening process (initial and ongoing) for educators, including background checks, qualifications verification, and compliance with mandatory training requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Monitor and assess compliance risks across different business functions and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of compliance programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance issues, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement compliance initiatives and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in laws, regulations, and industry practices that may impact the company's operations.
  • Investigate compliance incidents, breaches, or violations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies.
  • Serve as a point of contact for compliance-related inquiries and communicate compliance requirements effectively.
  • Support in the development and implementation of the overall compliance strategy.

Requirements

We're interested in anyone who meets one, or a combination of the following:

  • 2 years + in customer service or administration type role
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience in conducting investigations and audits.
  • Ethical and professional conduct with a commitment to upholding compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, ISO, or industry-specific regulations.
