The work environment is fast-paced and highly international. We seek individuals who can see the big picture, think strategically, and adapt to changing needs. In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership, taking on a variety of tasks—both strategic and administrative—to ensure the smooth operation of our global organization.

The candidate can be based at any of our legal entities in Europe:

the UK (Sunderland - preference), France (Paris or Douai), or Germany (Munich).

The possibility of travel and remote work will be discussed based on the candidate's profile. The role can also include more strategic work depending on the profile.

Responsibilities:

- Flexible Scope Management: Adapt to the evolving needs of the company, taking on tasks that may fall outside the specific job scope.

- Strategic Thinking: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies that align with the company’s goals and vision.

- Global Leadership: Manage the meetings and workshops of the global leadership in the development organization.

- Organization Setup: Manage the official headcount planning and organization chart for the Development organization.

- Document Management: Create presentations, reports, and other documents, and manage filing systems.

- Document Storage: Set up and manage platforms for document storage and information exchange for the development department.

- Communication Management: Handle phone calls, emails, and draft responses as needed.

- Executive Support: Organize leadership workshops, arrange travel coordination for the executive if needed

- Research and Analyss: Conduct research and compile data to support the executive's work.

- Project Management: Assist with managing projects, including delegating tasks and tracking progress.

Skills and Requirements:

- Language: Chinese (Full professional proficiency), English (Full professional proficiency), French (Preferred)

- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering or a related field (experience can substitute).

- Technical Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook. Proficiency in data analytics and experience using data visualization tools is a plus.

- Process Design: Ability in process design methodologies and tools, with experience in mapping, analyzing, and optimizing workflows and business processes.

- Experience: Battery experience and factory industrial experience strongly preferred. Proven experience in a global manufacturing environment for at least 3 years.

- Certifications: PMP (Performance Management Process) or similar project management certification is a plus; proved experience can substitute.

- Driving License: Full driving license needed.

- Project Management Skills:

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to support strategic tasks.

- Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Superior communication skills to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

- Proficiency in task management software and ERP software is a plus.

- Familiarity with the automotive sector or the battery business is a plus.

- Working proficiency in Mandarin, French, German, Korean, Spanish, or Japanese is a plus.
