Job Description

We're searching for a superstar IT End User Support Engineer to join our team and keep our clients in Oxford and London running smoothly. This role combines on-site visits, remote support, and a monthly adventure to Paddington, London (split shift), ensuring seamless technology experiences for everyone.


You'll Be the Go-To Person for:

  • On-Site Support (Oxford & Paddington once a month): Welcome new users with tech setup, troubleshoot on-site issues, and ensure the Paddington office stays IT-healthy with monthly checkups. Plus, travel within a 15-mile radius of Oxford to support our local clients. These hours are shifts from either 07:00 to 15:00 or 10:00 to 18:00.
  • Remote Support (Mon-Fri, 9 AM - 5 PM): Tackling user issues across various platforms like Office 365, chat apps, and security software. You'll also be the first line of defence for P1 incidents and outages on bank holidays.


Here's What Makes You a Perfect Fit:

  • 1-2 years of IT end-user support experience (or similar).
  • A troubleshooting whiz who can solve a variety of tech headaches.
  • Excellent communication skills to connect with users of all levels.
  • A customer service champion dedicated to user satisfaction.
  • Proactive problem-solving with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Microsoft Office Suite mastery is a must.
  • Familiarity with Windows and macOS is a plus.


Tech Stack and Equipment:

  • Operating Systems: Windows 11, macOS
  • Devices: Laptops, Microsoft Cloud PCs (Virtual Desktops)
  • Software: Microsoft Office Suite, AV Conferencing (Logitech Rally), Proofpoint (email filtering), Dropbox, Chat & Video Meetings (Slack, Zoom, Teams, etc.), Okta Verify (MFA), SentinelOne (Endpoint Protection & Antivirus), Namley (HR System), NinjaOne, Endpoint Management (MobileIron Cloud, JAMF & Intune – MDM)
  • Business Systems: SAP Financials & Salesforce.com, Crystal Reports / Power Bi
  • Network & Connectivity: Leased lines & Broadband connections, Palo Alto Firewalls, LAN & Wi-Fi, Aruba & Ubiquiti Access Points
  • Peripherals: Printers
  • Network Administration: Patching servers and switches
  • Mobile Devices: Managed Mobile Phones (Apple & Android)
  • VoIP: Zoom Phones
  • Cloud Services: Oracle Cloud – 1st line support & IDAM
