About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join our team. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of golf course construction and maintenance, P&L accountability, employee management, account management as well as strategic input within the wider Property Services division.

This permanent full-time position is based in Melbourne, VIC and presents an opportunity to lever your operational experience and business acumen while having a meaningful impact at work with an organisation that supports balancing your passions.

Leveraging your strong operations background and business acumen, your key responsibilities will be to:

• Oversee daily operations.


• Profit & loss budget management.


• Coach, mentor and lead Turnpoint team.


• Deliver exceptional customer relationship management.


• Partner with clients and operations team to achieve organic & new growth objectives.


• Continually improve strategies and processes to increase performance.


• Provide expert knowledge to the development of bids & tenders.


• Promote and develop a safety culture across the business.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a motivated professional with a ‘can-do’ attitude, knack for people engagement and drive for operational excellence. A background or strong knowledge of the golf or sports turf industry and maintenance services is also highly desirable, however not essential. We encourage candidates from building, landscaping, grounds maintenance, product supply and other similar industries.

Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:

• Tertiary business qualification or equivalent working experience highly desirable.


• Sports turf or golf course construction and/or maintenance experience highly desirable.


• Demonstrated management experience including P&L responsibility and staff engagement.


• Highly developed communication and robust stakeholder engagement ability.


• Proactive approach to relationship management and business development.


• Ability to estimate and quote project work, desirable.
