Project Officer (Lifts)

We are proud to be partnering with Housing Association based in Bedfordshire, who are looking to appoint a Project Officer (Lift Safety/LOLER) on a temporary basis for three months.

This will be a full-time position, with a daily rate of up to £300 per day via an umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have experience must have experience of leading Lift Safety/LOLER contracts within social housing, relevant qualifications/accreditation, and hold a full UK Driving Licence.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Acting as the main point of contact for contract management of the annual and cyclical lift maintenance, service and LOLER programmes across the domestic housing stock
• Ensuring legislative and regulatory duties in relation to lifting are met and followed by customers, contractors and staff
• Working with the Property Services and Finance team to manage and report on planned and cyclical budgets
• Ensuring that all contractor compliance data and certification is accurate and valid, viewing any contractor documentation and addressing any shortfallings
• Ensuring that projects are well planned and that performance targets are met by contractors, in line with KPIs
• Contract managing any small cyclical programmes as required (e.g. PAT testing)

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing
• Experience working with customers within housing
• Experience of leading Lift Safety/LOLER contracts within social housing, relevant qualifications/accreditation

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Risk assessment and management
• Numerate with good communication skills and ability to provide high quality reports
• A good working knowledge of IT, including Asprey, Microsoft Office software, CRM, Keystone, or other compliance/Social Housing software

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
