Job Description

Role Summary:

Reporting to the EMEA HR Director as Human Resources Manager he/she will be responsible for establishing and implementing all employee relations strategies and processes to secure the markets implement employee relations policies towards internal staff, external organizations, and legal authorities in order to contribute to a satisfactory and motivating work environment and to minimize business risks. This critical role will lead the local HR teams for France, Italy and Spain and providing support to all business units in close collaboration with plant and site leaders. Collaborating with HR Shared Services and centers of expertise to improve our employee experience, Support other regional related activity and projects.


Your Role:


▪ Serve as a strategic partner to the business, aligning HR strategy and business goals.

▪ Deploy your communication skills by collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., temporary employment agencies and unions) to understand HR needs and develop strategic plans based on them, always fostering a positive work environment.

▪ Utilize your planning and problem-solving abilities to handle labor issues efficiently, ensuring compliance with labor laws as well as agreements applicable to the context (e.g., metal industry agreement).

▪ Foster a positive and inclusive work culture, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal regulations.

▪ Advise and guide managers on performance management, employee development, and talent management strategies.

▪ Provide guidance on HR-related queries, addressing any issues that arise, and ensuring a high level of employee satisfaction.

▪ Supporting Leaders with career conversations and career growth plans.

▪ Facilitate and monitor the implementation of standardized human resource processes.

▪ Identifying training opportunities to further develop functional and leadership skills for his team.

▪ Employ your attention to detail to systematize procedures and thus optimise the department.

▪ Partner with HR community.

▪ Active participation in HR projects

▪ Manage senior level escalations and ensure timely and effective resolution.

▪ Adhering to safety, integrity and code of conduct policies


Your profile:


▪ Required +10 years of experience leading HR teams with strong focus on partnering with business units, preferably within a similar or industrial industry across multiple countries and leadership responsibility.

▪ Experience working in complex matrix organization and new HR operating models.

▪ Leading labor relations in coordination with the HR guidelines and the business area.

▪ Supporting regional management and local HR to handle and prevent employee issues.

▪ Excellent people management and leadership skills, with an ability to influence at a Senior level

▪ Exceptional customer service, emotional intelligence, and empathy

▪ Strong organizational and change management skills - including influencing and negotiating ▪ Continuous improvement skills, challenging status quo. Harmonization opportunities in process, policy, and tasks.

▪ Established financial acumen – cost controls and value propositions. Control of service delivery for his team.

▪ Good understanding of HR practices/principles and of the full HR operations solution

▪ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural organization.

Travel required of up to 25% to regional locations

▪ Required: Working knowledge of Workday and a case management tool

▪ Must be fluent in English and French, a third language (Italian or Spanish) would be desirable

Must have experience covering 3 countries including France, Spain, and Italy.
