The wine studio is a key element of the estate, offering guests a refined environment to explore an exceptional wine collection, engage in educational experiences, and enjoy curated events. We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Wine Studio Manager to lead the wine studio operations and enhance guest experiences. Position Overview: As the Wine Studio Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the wine studio, ensuring a seamless operation and delivering an exceptional experience for guests. This role involves managing the studios daily operations, curating wine selection, coordinating exclusive events, and leading a team of wine professionals. You will be instrumental in upholding the luxury standards of the estate and creating memorable experiences for discerning clientele. Key Responsibilities: Operational Oversight: Manage the daily operations of the wine studio, including staff supervision, inventory control, and customer service. Ensure that the studio maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and luxury. Wine Curation: Curate and manage the wine selection, including sourcing and presenting a diverse range of fine wines. Collaborate with the estates winemakers to offer exclusive and limited-edition wines to guests. Guest Experience: Provide personalized and exceptional service to guests, including expert wine recommendations, guided tastings, and educational sessions. Address any guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and expertise. Event Coordination: Plan, organize, and execute high-end wine tastings, private events, and educational workshops. Work with other departments to ensure seamless event execution and an outstanding guest experience. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor wine studio staff. Foster a positive and professional work environment, and ensure that staff deliver exceptional service and have a deep understanding of our wine offerings. Sales & Marketing: Develop and implement strategies to promote the wine studio and its offerings. Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the studios visibility and attract high-net-worth guests. Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including alcohol licensing laws and health and safety standards. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all operations. Budget Management: Develop and manage the wine studios budget. Monitor financial performance, manage expenses, and drive revenue growth while maintaining cost-effective operations. Qualifications: Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in luxury wine management, hospitality, or a related field, with a proven track record in wine knowledge and high-end customer service. Skills: Deep understanding of fine wines, including varietals, regions, and tasting techniques. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality service under pressure. Education: Certification in wine education (e.g., WSET Diploma, Certified Sommelier) or equivalent expertise in the field is preferred. Attributes: Passion for wine with an interest in the latest industry trends. Demonstrated ability to create luxurious and memorable experiences for high-net-worth guests. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
