Salesperson (Flooring: Vinyl, Wood, Carpets & Blinds)

Requirements: - Matric - Own vehicle and valid drivers license - Fluent in English & Afrikaans - Experience: Previous sales experience, preferably in the flooring or home improvement industry, is highly desirable. - Knowledge: Strong understanding of vinyl flooring, wood flooring, carpets, and blinds is preferable along with the ability to take accurate measurements . - Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse customer base effectively. - Customer Focus: Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service and build lasting relationships with clients. - Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and handle objections professionally. - Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. - Administrative Skills: Strong administrative skills. - Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also taking initiative. Key Responsibilities: - Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their needs and providing expert advice on flooring and blinds options. - Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of our product lines, including vinyl flooring, wood flooring, carpets, and blinds, to effectively answer customer questions and offer tailored recommendations. - Sales Performance: Drive sales through proactive engagement, upselling, and cross-selling techniques while meeting or exceeding individual and team sales targets. - Consultations: Conduct in-depth consultations with customers, including on-site visits if necessary, to assess their needs and provide customized solutions. - Order Processing: Manage the order process from initial inquiry through to final sale, ensuring accuracy in product selection, pricing, and delivery arrangements. - Customer Service: Resolve any issues or concerns that arise before, during, or after the sale, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and fostering repeat business. - Product Display: Ensure that the showroom is well-organized and that products are displayed attractively to enhance the customer experience. - Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competitor offerings to provide informed recommendations and maintain a competitive edge.
