The Digital IT Operations, Infrastructure & Environments Team is responsible for managing our infrastructure & configurations across our data centers/providers. The organization delivers capabilities that enrich the customer experience and provide business value. We seek a motivated, talented Staff Engineer with solid understanding of infrastructure & application support, DevOps & Automation to help deliver stable, available environments across the Digital IT Org. What you will need ? The Digital IT Operations Team thrives on strong relationships with our delivery & development partners and working diligently to address their needs which supports TJX growth and operational stability. On this tightly knit and fast-paced operational delivery team you will be constantly challenged to stretch and think outside the box. You will be working with product teams , 3rd party vendors and operational stakeholders to deliver availability & stability, and automation capabilities . You will be responsible for optimizing & improving our applications & infrastructure and processes. You will advocate for, implement and govern best practices in system design, development, operability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams for brainstorming, research, design, and troubleshooting. As a senior member of the engineering team, you will help to define, craft and execute on a long-term vision. In addition, you will be actively coaching and mentoring engineers and developers in the product teams to help identify and resolve issues with technology and product processes. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or equivalent Engineering skillset / training / work experience in relevant technical domain 7 years of strong experiencewith medium to large bespoke developed software solutions while working in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) environment Acts in Lead Engineer capacity for medium to large initiatives, prioritizing and assigning tasks, providing guidance and resolving issues. 7 years of Designing, testing, deploying & supporting working software /technology components, working collaboratively with architects and other engineers. Fully Owns Epics with decreasing guidance. Takes initiative through identifying gaps and opportunities 7 years' experience working within a RHEL / Java / WebLogic environment. 2 Years working within an Oracle ATG Environment Required with experience in Dyn-Admin, BCC, Endeca, Product Catalogs. Experienced with Certificate Management & Automation, Proven track record of automating complex manual tasks Experience in scripting Strong communication and influence skills with the ability to effectively collaborate. Solid team leadership with mentorship skills. Deep Understanding of API functionality, experience using postman or similar tools. Strong DevSecOps & Engineering Mindset This person will always keep security, maintainability, and scalability in mind with the solutions built Ability to understand the work environment and competing priorities in conjunction with developing/meeting project goals Track record of supporting and solving complex technical issues which span applications, networks, and Infrastructure. Experience with Splunk & AppDynamics, or similar APM Tools in troubleshooting Proficient knowledge of splunk Shows a positive, open-minded and can-do attitude Advanced Troubleshooting Capabilities within large enterprise application stacks Network, Infrastructure, Application Server, Oracle ATG. The ability to break problems down systemically. 5 experience in any combination of the following technologies: Ansible, or other configuration management tools Delphix, or other Test Data Management Solutions Jenkins GIT Nice to have skills: Akamai or other Content Delivery Network experience Experience documenting complex solutions using MS Visio or similar tools. SQL ANT/Maven/Gradle
