Saft's ESS division strengthens the company's ability to serve the global energy storage market and support the transition to renewable energy. We are looking for an Electronics Engineer for our Hardware department.

As a Business Service Manager, you are responsible for generating new solutions and proposals for long-term service contracts. You are responsible for the development of service offerings (OPEX costs and margins) during the bidding process for new projects. You lead the negotiation of O&M service contracts with the customer. You will lead the implementation of new maintenance solutions and services to improve customer support and profitability of the company, such as reducing the cost of maintenance expenses and improving service contract margins.


Your missions :


  • Offer O&M/OPEX service solutions for long-term service contracts.
  • Lead the development of service contracts and negotiation with customers and local service providers/subcontractors. Ensure that what has been sold and is required is properly reflected and accounted for in service contracts
  • Guarantee the development and continuous improvement of the operating cost management tool and Services work with the sales and marketing team to identify opportunities and sales growth of service contracts. Generate new solutions and global service offerings to be applied on new or existing service contracts.
  • Support the processes of monitoring spare parts consumption within the framework of the warranty, inventory forecasting, optimization and sharing of the spare parts pool between the main service and maintenance contracts with customers.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives, including other regions by involving the Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Field Intervention teams to consider feedback from the field in new or existing service offerings. Support and interaction with the ILS teams (in charge of calculating the MTBF) and the Service Manager (in charge of the operational execution of the contracts).
  • Provide support to the Service Manager, for the development of processes and methods for the implementation of digital solutions, remote monitoring and diagnostics, and a 24/7 hotline for efficient management of long-term O&M contracts.

Required profil :


  • Bac + 5, engineering degree
  • At least 10 years of experience in writing business proposals
  • Strong ability to work under pressure, manage a large number of topics and offers in tandem, and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in English (read, written and spoken)
  • Strong ability to communicate externally and internally
  • Strong negotiation skills, especially with customers and suppliers
  • Strong cross-functional management experience
  • High level of autonomy
  • Experience in ESS project management for EPC contract execution and service contract execution is an asset.
