JOB OVERVIEW

To lead and drive the retail operations of AMOREPACIFIC cosmetics brands in the European region, we are looking for a Sales Manager with a strong background in retail management and a proven track record in area management and team leadership. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and strategic salesperson, who can work closely with Sephora teams and our field teams to achieve operational excellence.


MISSIONS

Retail Operations

  • Oversee all retail operations, ensuring stores are well-managed and meet performance targets.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure consistent execution of brand standards and exceptional customer service across all locations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, particularly Sephora, to drive collaboration and mutual success.


Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Develop and execute retail strategies aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align retail initiatives with marketing, merchandising, and product strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of retail strategies, making adjustments as needed.


Team Management and Lead

  • Recruit, train, and develop high-performing retail teams.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor the retail team across multiple regions in Europe.
  • Establish clear performance goals and provide regular feedback and coaching.
  • Develop and implement strategic retail plans to drive sales growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the team, encouraging continuous improvement and development.
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.


Sales Reporting

  • Fill and share weekly and monthly reports on sales activities.
  • Assist the Key Account Manager in working on the sellout budget, including forecasting and financial planning.
  • Optimize resource allocation to maximize profitability.


PROFILE

  • With a master degree from business school, you have already completed a minimum of 5 years’ experience in retail management, with a strong emphasis on area sales management and team leadership.
  • Experience at/with Sephora or a similar retail environment is required. Regional or area management experience at/with Sephora is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Excellent communcation and interpersonal skills
  • Very frequent travel within European countries.
  • Fluent English is essential. Multilingual skills including French, German, Italian or Spanish are desirable.
