We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Consultant in Information Governanceto join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in archival science, experience in managing both physical and digital records, and a keen understanding of industry standards and regulations, including GDPR. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing archival collections, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and leading projects to enhance information governance processes.

Your role in our mission
  • Manage and process both physical and digital archives, ensuring proper classification, indexing, and inventory management.
  • Analyze and optimize archival collections to improve accessibility and organization.
  • Provide expertise in archival science, including determining retention periods (DUA) based on document typologies.
  • Conduct quality control to ensure accuracy and consistency in archival management processes.
  • Advise clients on archival standards, GDPR compliance, and best practices in information governance.
  • Lead and/or assist in project management, including creating and updating project plans, indicators, and coordinating with digitization services.

Valued skills and experience
  • A university degree (Bac +3 to Bac +5) in Archival Science or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.
  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience in records management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of records management procedures, GDPR, and digital archival systems (GED/SAE/NF544/NF461).
  • Expertise in the legal status of private archives and the legislation governing public archives.
  • Proficiency in archival description principles, including current standards (ISAD-G, ISAAR) and standardized vocabularies.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings and adapt to diverse client needs.
  • Fluent or native France (both written and spoken)
