Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate banquet functions, including weddings, corporate events, and private parties. Oversee the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring all specifications are met and service standards are maintained. Lead and motivate a team of servers, bartenders, and support staff, providing training and guidance where necessary. Collaborate with the kitchen and event management teams to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Manage inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, ensuring availability during events. Handle guest requests, concerns, and special requirements professionally and efficiently. Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement. Assist in scheduling and maintaining labour costs within budget. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Banquet or Food & Beverage Supervisor in a high-volume hospitality environment. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations. Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
