A recent professional profile photo is to accompany your application EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Temporary / Contract SECTOR : Manufacturing BASIC SALARY : R 59 R 65 hourly rate (depending on experience) START DATE : A.S.A.P / Immediate REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 5 years experience in a factory environment, with experience as a Machine Builder/Assembler Must be healthy and fit for climbing ladders, stairs, pedestals, and working at heights Computer literate Safety conscious; previous safety course preferred Own transport required for regular and overtime work N4 Mechanical qualification, qualified Fitter/Millwright Artisan, with safety (NOSA), forklift, and MIG/TIG welding courses DUTIES: Make use of all electrical hand tools (Drill, Grinder , Tap Machine) include normal spanners and hand tools Be able to use the following measuring equipment: Vernier, Angle Protractor, Squares, Spirit Levels and a Tape Measure Assemble Gearboxes, Pulleys, Sprockets, Chains, Conveyors, Rollers, Bearing fitment Know the different types of Sheet Metal (Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Angle Iron, Tubing, Flat Bar, Channels, Sectional Material) Know all sorts of Fasteners, Bolts, Nuts, Screw, Rivet, Rivnuts, Tapping and Die Nut Cutting of Threads Must be Healthy and Fit to climbing up ladders, Stairs, Pedestals, Work at Heights HOURS: Monday to Thursday: 7:55 17:00 Fridays: 7:55 14:40 Overtime Should you meet all the requirements, apply on our website at www.statusstaffing.com today.
