Job Description

About the Role:


Within CBRE Design & Project (Consulting, development and project management solutions for our investor, owner and corporate clients) and more specifically in the Technical Due Diligence Department, you will be responsible for carrying out consulting instructions for investors and users.


Your instruction will include:

  • Technical audits prior to property acquisitions/sales for investors
  • Supporting users during the handover of their premises
  • Carrying out monitoring instructions as part of the financing of real estate operations.
  • Your customers are national and international key accounts, mainly in the office, logistics, residential, retail and hotel sectors. The majority of deliverables are to be written in English.


What You'll Do:

You will be responsible for the following services:

  • Assessment of the building condition: structure, roof and technical equipment.
  • Assessment in terms of compliance with current regulations (fire safety, solidity, lead, asbestos, etc.).
  • Analyze sustainable matters (notably Tertiary Decree) .
  • Analyze environmental risks (soil pollution, flooding risk, etc.)
  • Draw up detailed reports, minutes and costed estimates for refurbishment or optimization work on real estate assets.
  • Work closely with internal departments to grow relationships and business opportunities.
  • Look for opportunities to build value and deliver client solutions to exceed expectations.
  • Assist with the delivery of client advice, with the correct mix of experience, skills, and commerciality.
  • Defect evaluation and provide commercial advice to clients.
  • Positively contribute to the team and department business plan and assist in achieving its objectives.
  • Apply general knowledge of standard fundamentals and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
  • Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.


What You’ll Need:

  • Engineer in construction.
  • Training: Engineering school or university training (Master's degree)
  • Skills: Knowledge of building techniques, technical equipment, fire safety regulations.
  • Autonomous, rigorous and organized, you have a flair for analysis and synthesis, and are able to draft documents.
  • Open-minded and communicative, you know how to work as part of a team in an international context.
  • Fluent English essential (written and spoken).
  • B driving license required
  • Excellent command of Pack Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
  • An inquisitive mindset.
