Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Chef de Cuisine to join our client’s esteemed culinary team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the restaurant's high standards and reputation, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish served. The Chef de Cuisine will work closely with the owner to develop new dishes while adhering to the established menu and guidelines.


Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals during busy services, reaching up to 400 covers.

- Maintain and enhance the restaurant’s existing menu, ensuring consistency and adherence to established guidelines.

- Collaborate with the owner to create and develop new dishes that align with the restaurant’s vision.

- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and hygiene standards.

- Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and professional working environment.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.


Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine, particularly in Italian cuisine.

- Experience working in a structured and process-driven international restaurant.

- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume, high-quality kitchen operations.

- Strong leadership and communication skills.

- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.

- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
