Job Description

As part of CBRE Design & Project (consultancy, development and project management solutions for our investor, owner and corporate clients), and more specifically in the Technical Due Diligence Department, you will be responsible for carrying out soil pollution diagnosis and assessing compliance of logistics sites with regards to the ICPE regulation (Classified Installations for the environment protection).


Your customers are national and international key accounts, mainly in the office, logistics, residential, retail and hotel sectors. The majority of deliverables are to be written in English and the position is based in Paris but regular travel in France is required.


These diagnostics will be carried out as part of the sale or acquisition of real estate assets.

Key Responsibilities


Regarding the Soil pollution diagnosis Phase 1, you will be responsible for carrying out:


  • Historical site studies and on-site visits;
  • Analysis of the environmental context ;
  • Definition of investigation programs if necessary
  • Supporting our customers in identifying risks and carrying out necessary work.
  • Write detailed reports setting out all your recommendations.
  • With ICPE instructions, you will be in charge of assessing the compliance of logistics sites in the context of sales or acquisitions. You will be advising investors on the risks and work required to guarantee the compliance of these assets.


Person Specification/Requirements

  • Engineer by background.
  • Training: Engineering school or university training (Master's degree)
  • Skills: Knowledge of geology, polluted sites and soils and ICPE regulations (logistics)
  • Autonomous, rigorous and organized, you have a flair for analysis and synthesis, and are able to draft documents.
  • Open-minded and communicative, you know how to work as part of a team in an international context.
  • Fluent English essential (written and spoken).
  • B driving license required
  • Excellent command of Pack Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
