Role Overview:
We are excited to announce a brand new role within our Material Handling Division in Douai, France: Aftermarket Product Manager. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our aftermarket products and services on a global scale. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for the lifecycle management of our global spare parts portfolio, focusing on aftermarket products and services. You will develop and implement strategies to ensure the competitiveness and profitability of our offerings, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and address market needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Lifecycle Management:
- Develop and implement strategies for the global spare parts portfolio, including new services or kits introductions, product phase-out, and end-of-life management.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to identify and address product lifecycle issues and opportunities.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product development (Service, Repair, Overhaul, and Conversion kits).
- Work with cross-functional teams on strategy development for product innovation and long-term planning.
- Develop and execute global pricing strategies and policies for spare parts, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
Supply Chain and Inventory Management:
- Optimize inventory levels, lead times, and logistics for spare parts distribution globally in collaboration with the supply chain team.
- Monitor and analyse inventory performance, implementing initiatives to improve stock availability and reduce excess inventory.
Customer Support and Quality Assurance:
- Act as a liaison between the customer support team and technical departments to address and resolve spare parts issues.
- Ensure the highest quality standards for all spare parts, coordinating quality control measures and continuous improvement initiatives.
Sales and Marketing Support:
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop promotional materials, training programs, and sales tools for spare parts.
- Support global sales teams with product knowledge, pricing information, and technical expertise.
Global Coordination:
- Coordinate with regional teams to ensure alignment with global strategies and address region-specific needs and challenges.
- Maintain strong relationships with international partners, distributors, and key customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven ability to develop and execute product strategies that drive business growth.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and French is required.
- Experience with Oracle and data analytics tools.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
