So, if you ’ re looking to do what you love, we could be a perfect match Our expectations Reporting to the Director, Loyalt/CRM/CMI the successful candidate will design and implement quantitative and qualitative primary research projects based on research industry best practices to address key strategic issues for RONA Canada. The incumbent will act as an expert in assisting internal teams to properly define consumer-related business issues in order to effectively meet their business requirements. The position requires knowledge of and experience in primary and secondary research to help develop tangible ideas that will translate into commercial success for RONA Canada. The Analyst, Consumer Insights plays a key role within the company, with the ultimate goal of informing the decision-making process and improving the customer experience for our brands' consumers. The incumbent will be expected to interact with internal client teams (e.g., Marketing, Operations, E-Commerce), support teams (e.g., Legal, Finance, IT, Customer Service), and external research partners. Your role Manage consumer research projects by providing development expertise and implement primary research projects to provide high-quality information Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients to identify opportunities to add more value to the business through research Develop and implement tracking mechanisms to monitor performance metrics of RONA Canada’s various banners Provide research reports that summarize complex research findings into concise, clear, and actionable information Act as an expert in understanding and using RONA Canada research data Develop strong relationships with key support teams (e.g., Legal, Finance, IT) Manage partner relationships with RONA Canada’s external research suppliers Take full responsibility for the planning and delivery of their work by balancing the requirements of internal and external teams and helping prioritize workloads accordingly The qualifications we are looking for University degree in Marketing, Statistics or other related field; a master's degree is an asset At least 5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years of experience interacting with clients, in developing and managing quantitative and qualitative research projects Good understanding of various research, and statistical and data analysis methodologies Confidence in designing research projects that will help address business problems Practical experience in marketing support and/or customer experience roles Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and high tolerance for change Professionalism and confidence in communicating to company executives Proven ability to communicate effectively and succinctly using PowerPoint Excellent business document writing and presentation skills Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Experience with a statistical survey analysis tool (e.g., SPSS) Our Hybrid Workplace Policy establishes that associates need to have a reliable transportation to and from our corporate head office located in Boucherville (Quebec), to come to the office on a regular basis.
