Salary: Up to 36,000 GBP

Workplace description: This 13th-century hotel offers medieval features and picturesque gardens. It boasts individual bedrooms with antique furniture, a TV, CD player and tea/coffee facilities. The local beach is just 1 miles away.

The restaurant serves modern British food, while the cosy bar offers a traditional menu. There is a pretty garden with an outside seating area. Some of the rooms feature elegant four-poster beds. Set on a hillside in the quaint town of Dunster, the hotel is just 5 minutes' walk from Dunster Castle.

Main duties and responsibilities: We are looking for a sous chef with experience of working within a rosette environment to join our young and ambitious brigade of 7 chefs.

We are a privately owned and managed 28 bedroom hotel with busy bars and a la carte restaurant. We are looking for an experienced chef to assist in the day to day running of the kitchen, someone who is able to helplead and develop the team.

We continuously invest in our staff andthe propertyto ensure we are market leaders,we use top quality suppliers and provide home prepared and cooked food to be proud of.

Essential criteria: 5+ years experience

Formal training

Agood track record of leading a team

Passion and drive

Good attention to detail
