Content Manager

Glasgow – work from home Fridays

Up to £45,000


This is the perfect role for a senior Content Marketer looking to lead and shape the content strategy for a fast-growing, internationally expanding brand. They are a leading retail company based in Glasgow, Scotland, currently undergoing significant growth and moving to a larger, centrally located office and warehouse out with the city to accommodate their expanding team.


Their turnover has grown by £5 million the last year growing to a £25 million. They have a strong presence not just in the United Kingdon, but in the United States, Europe, Australia, Dubai, and Africa, and are looking to bolster their leadership team with the addition of a Senior Content Manager.

The Role:

In this role, you will play a critical part in enhancing their global brand presence through innovative and engaging content across multiple platforms. You will collaborate closely with their Head of Marketing and other senior industry leading leaders to drive their content strategy, focusing on global market expansion and customer engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels and creative assets.
  • Implement and oversee content marketing strategies across email, social media, video, website, ad copy, PR, brochures, and presentations.
  • Create and manage a content plan tailored to key customer segments, ensuring timely execution and ROI.
  • Drive organic search growth through optimized content, collaborating with SEO agencies to achieve top search rankings.
  • Enhance digital campaign content to improve conversion rates, from email copy to visually engaging social ad creative.
  • Lead the social media strategy to boost audience growth, engagement, and brand reach.
  • Coordinate the content team and external partners to align content with brand standards and business objectives.
  • Ensure all content aligns with marketing goals, delivering consistent and impactful messaging across platforms.


Requirements:

  • Approximately 5 years of experience in a content management or similar role in an Ecommerce or Consumer focused business.
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining a consistent brand voice across various channels.
  • Strong expertise in implementing multi-channel content marketing strategies.
  • Ability to create and manage content plans with a focus on ROI and timely execution.
  • Experience in driving organic search growth and collaborating with SEO agencies.
  • Proficiency in optimizing digital campaign content to improve conversion rates.
  • Demonstrated success in leading social media strategies that increase audience growth and engagement.
  • Excellent project management coordination skills for managing a content team and collaborating with external partners.
  • Excellent skills in managing upwards, and a natural team player.
