Multi Modal Freight Forwarder

Our client is a well-established global freight forwarding company with offices nationwide. We are now looking for a Freight Forwarding Coordinator to work with major accounts based in Tamworth handling multi modal movements.

You will handle bookings, complete documentation, laise with airlines and shipping lines, handle import/export procedures, customs regulations, and transportation management.
This role is responsible for the delivery of multi modal freight forwarding with an emphasis on delivering high-quality customer service to drive customer satisfaction, customer retention and through that overall business success.

In order to apply you will have ..

A high level of air and/or sea freight experience gained from working for a freight forwarder
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle non-routine assignments independently.
Proficiency in using CargoWise 1 would be advantageous
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide informal leadership or training to other staff.
Be extremely customer focused and pro-active in all levels of communication
You will be handling the UK's major clients so the ability to provide a high degree of customer service is paramount.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and proactively engage with the client to act as an extension of their business.


Package and Benefits

Salary £30,000 to £35,000 Circa
