Boarding House Assistant (Craigleith Boarding House)

An opportunity has arisen for a House Assistant to join Craigleith Boarding House at Fettes College. Reporting directly to the Houseparents and central to life in this busy boarding house, you will be required to fulfil several key responsibilities. Craigleith is the Upper Sixth Form boarding house, home to around 130 17-18 year olds. It was opened in September 2007, and accommodates the whole of the Upper Sixth Form during their last year of school. From your office in the centre of the House, you will help and support the students and staff in a varied and rewarding role.

This is a permanent, full time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday during term time, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break every day. There is potential for flexibility within these hours, which can be discussed at interview. The successful candidate may need to work on occasion outside of the term dates to ensure that everything is ready for the first day of term and shut down the House at the end of the Summer Term.
