About the Role:

Vital in assisting the business to achieve success, this role will have responsibility for the UK GIS (Global Information Systems) Digital Security Landscape ensuring that our Security Monitoring & Cyber Security threat management is fit for purpose across all UK affiliate businesses. This opportunity provides an interesting mix of projects and day-to-day operations, as well as taking part in and supervising software/server/hardware upgrades.

On a day to day basis, you will:

    • Manage security incidents and events to protect corporate GIS assets, including intellectual property, regulated data and the companys reputation.
    • Manage complex UK GIS security implementation and transformation programmes from project inception through to final sign-off.
    • Develop and implement GIS security policies, protocols and procedures working in partnership with Global GIS stakeholders.
    • Create UK GIS security blueprints and high-level solution designs for technical & process solutions for multiple UK GIS domains.
    • Own risk management for UK GIS including Chairing the Risk Management Review Board for UK GIS.
    • Deliver GIS security standards, best practices, architecture & systems to ensure GIS security across the enterprise and implement procedures for auditing & addressing non-compliance.

  • A solid cyber security background underpinned with a strong technical foundation of service, networks and infrastructure.
  • A qualification in at least one of the following: (ISC)2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)/CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+)/Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
  • Ideally experience in a manufacturing environment/FMCG sector.
  • Well-developed customer service and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to flourish in a fast paced working environment.
  • UK full driving licence.
