About the Role:

Randstad is seeking three experienced Children's Case Review Managers to join the dedicated team in Middlesbrough.
In this key role, you will oversee the review and management of children's cases, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, safeguarding best practices, and delivering positive outcomes for children and families.
This is an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership position focused on continuous improvement in children's services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the review process for children's cases, ensuring that care plans, risk assessments, and interventions meet statutory requirements and the needs of each child.
  • Chair and coordinate child protection conferences, looked-after children reviews, and other statutory meetings.
  • Ensure that children's voices are central to the review process, and that their views and wishes are fully considered in all decisions made.
  • Collaborate closely with social work teams, fostering agencies, health professionals, and education providers to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to safeguarding and child welfare.
  • Support continuous service improvement by identifying areas for development, offering feedback, and implementing best practices across children's services.
  • Stay updated on legislative changes, policy developments, and best practices in children's services to ensure that all case reviews align with current standards.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with valid Social Work England registration.
  • Significant experience in children's services, with a strong background in safeguarding, child protection, and case management.
  • Excellent understanding of the Children Act, Working Together to Safeguard Children, and other relevant legislation and guidance.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, manage a high-volume caseload, and deliver quality reviews within set timescales.
