Gas Engineer

Ten Live are seeking a skilled and qualified Stove Installer / Gas Safe Engineer on behalf of our client based in Airdrie. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas stoves, solid fuel stoves, and related heating systems in residential and commercial properties.

As a Gas Safe Engineer, you will ensure all work is completed to a high standard, adhering to safety regulations and Gas Safe certification requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install gas stoves, fireplaces, solid fuel stoves, and associated heating systems.

• Ensure installations meet all regulatory standards, including Gas Safe compliance.

• Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs on heating appliances.

• Diagnose faults and conduct efficient repairs.

• Provide expert advice to customers on stove usage, maintenance, and safety.

• Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed during installation and repair work.

• Maintain accurate records of all work completed.

• Travel to customer sites across the designated area.

Requirements:

• Gas Safe qualified (essential).

• Proven experience in stove installation and gas appliance maintenance.

• Strong knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Good communication and customer service skills.
