Hire Desk Controller

We have an opportunity for a Hire Desk Controller based in Manchester for one of our clients on a fulltime permanent basis. Our client is a well-established plant and machinery hire with sites across the UK.

Responsibilities of theHire Desk Controller

• Manage hire fleet stock and sales stock.
• Complete workshop work orders.
• Undertake admin on stock orders and amendments.
• Manage vehicles and drivers.
• Carry out basic service of hire fleet items.
• Complete administration duties for hire contracts on hire and off hires.

Requirements for a successful Hire Desk Controller

• Previous plant/tool hire experience is essential.
• Strong administrative skills.
• Good understanding of Health and Safety.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Summary of the Hire Desk Controller role

Salary: £25,000 - £26,000
Location: Manchester
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday Friday 8:00am 5:00pm
