Material Controller

The Role

We support our customers to ensure they have all the parts, spares and tooling they need to operate as well as working hard to ensure we obtain the best deals with suppliers.

As Material Controller you will be responsible for ensuring that stock levels are maintained effectively. Material Controllers will be expected to work closely with key stakeholders including Customer, Suppliers and the Warehouse teams and functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with key stakeholders to ensure that the stock is optimised
• Work proactively with customer facing team to ensure that product demand is understood and met
• Work closely with Insite Team and customer, responding to all queries in a timely manner
• Monitor non-moving and slow-moving stock recommending actions to key stakeholders
• Working on the Insite Stock Report, for forecasting and setting up system parameters for optimised replenishment
• Regularly validate lead times for all suppliers
• Maintain an up-to-date incoming order book and follow up discrepancies with suppliers
• Deliver high availability for the range under management
