About the Role

As a Legionella Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for carrying out comprehensive Legionella and Water Hygiene risk assessments across various sectors. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting detailed risk assessments in line with the ACoP L8 guidelines
• Organising and managing your own workload efficiently
• The Legionella Risk Assessor will be monitoring and testing water systems, including Hot and Cold-Water Distribution Systems
• Producing detailed reports and recommendations based on your findings
• Liaising with clients to ensure compliance with water hygiene standards

About You

We are looking for a motivated Legionella Risk Assessor who is ready to take on new challenges. The ideal candidate will possess:

• A formal qualification in the Control of Legionella (ACoP L8)
• Relevant experience within the Water Hygiene industry
• Strong understanding of Hot and Cold-Water Distribution Systems
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to work independently and use your initiative

Useful Experience

• Experience in roles such as Water Hygiene Risk Assessor, Water Hygiene/Legionella Monitor, Legionella Engineer, or Technician
• Familiarity with water treatment industry standards and best practices
• Hands-on experience with Legionella testing and water hygiene management
