Location:Greenham Business Park, Newbury, Berkshire

Hours of Work:

• Hours of Work: 44 hours over an 8 day shift cycle inclusive of 1 hour paid break per shift
• Rota 12 hour shifts, 4 days, 4 days off, 4 Nights, 4 Nights off

The Role

Due to internal promotion Cyberfort are looking for a Service Support Technician to join our friendly team.

Reporting to the Service Support Operations Manager youll be part of a team providing 24/7/365 support for data centre and service desk functions.

No two days are the same in this interesting role. Youll be looking after customers and colleagues, supporting a wide range of data centre and customer equipment, resolving queries, installing, and supporting hardware and software as part of a team. Youll be confident on the telephone, and able to prioritise your work and ask for help when youre out of your depth.

Youll have some experience of IT infrastructure and customer service and be confident using office software.

This is a busy role, and youll need to be a quick learner, able to build honest, transparent, trusting relationships with colleagues and with our customers.

A keen willingness to learn and develop your skills is essential to this hands-on role. Weve partnered with QA Training and all Technicians are enrolled in an 18-month level 4 training program following induction training.
