Our client is now looking for a Support Worker to join them for the night shift on a permanent, part-time basis, working 20 hours per week, between the hours of 9pm and 7am.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will undertake a range of support activities for the young people with disabilities using our client’s service.

Working closely with Senior Support Workers, you will plan and provide leisure activities, prepare meals and refreshments, and ensure the emotional and physical wellbeing of the children and young people are maintained at all times.

You’ll also undertake cleaning duties, assist staff with signage and PECs and support the day staff with administrative and IT related tasks, such as producing documentation and auditing.

Please note, due to our client’s open and collaborative working environment and the nature of their work with children and adults with disabilities, all their office-based roles can experience periods of elevated noise levels and some elements of disruption.

About You

To be considered as a Support Worker, you will need:

- Experience of working with children and/or young people
- Knowledge of safeguarding and data protection
- A good level of IT literacy
- To hold, or be willing to work towards, Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or hold an equivalent level 3 qualification (e.g., NVQ Childcare or Health and Social Care)
