HOURS: 18:00 - 06:00 4on4off
SALARY: £17.83ph basic, plus £1.00ph skills allowance and £2.00ph night shift allowance.
BASE: Birchwood, Somercotes, Alfreton

Our Team Leaders are accountable for supervising operatives and processes to deliver a safe, compliant, and efficient operation in line with targets, budgets and plans. We require you to lead and motivate a team of PVCu Technicians through being an ambassador of the Company Values and role model Safety First and quality standards.

WHAT OUR TECHNICAL TEAM LEADERS DO:

• Lead and motivate the team through role modelling the Company Values of Gritty, Proud, Decent and Agile
• Ensure that your team is fully trained and confident in fulfilling their role and developing technicians and operators
• Ensure conformance to plan (CTP) and plan achievement (PA) targets are achieved
• Adhere to manufacturing budgets and all operational policies, processes, and SOP's
• Waste is minimised and segregated following company environmental protocols
• Ensuring weekly payroll and clocking in procedures are completed in line with payroll deadlines
• Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders
• Adherence to risk assessments, SOP's and safe systems of work within the team Investigates all reported SHE incidents and implements relevant containment, corrective and preventative action plans.
• Following reporting and escalation of incidents in line with SHE requirements

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR TECHNICAL TEAM LEADERS:

• Experience of managing large teams within a Production, Manufacturing, or Extrusion facility
• Experience of developing and coaching successful teams
• Knowledge of delivering Process Improvements
• Recent experience of a fast-paced environment, working under pressure
• A customer orientated attitude in line with company policies
• Excellent communication at all levels
