Role Description


This is a contract role for a Sales Executive - Maternity Cover with a fixed 12-month term. The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales, building client relationships, and meeting sales targets within Department's workspace solutions. This role is on-site in Manchester, with occasional travel to Leeds required.


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?


Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales; face to face, online and over the phone. They will have worked in a target driven environment where they took responsibility for sales, lead generation and achieving targets.


Key Areas of Responsibility


  • Ensuring KPI’s are met on sales and occupancy targets
  • Take ownership the sales pipeline from proactive lead generation to deal completion
  • Create and manage an active diary of workspace viewings across multiple brands, sites and cities
  • Manage accounts of existing clients ensuring all their needs are met and renewal is secured
  • Work closely with industry relevant agents and brokers to ensure maximum exposure and reach of the brand via third parties
  • Researching potential target industries and clients
  • Attend regular relevant industry events and conferences on behalf of the company to increase effective sales network and establish our brands
  • Carry out sales forecasts and analysis presenting findings to senior management
  • Carry out strategic planning to set aims and objectives to improve business performance across all sales functions


Key Experience Attributes


  • Working in a fast - paced sales environment and achieving targets
  • Excellent written, verbal and face to face communication skills
  • Ability to manage priorities, plan own workload and meet deadlines
  • Face to face sales and negotiation with prospective customers
  • Advanced use of excel for reporting and tracking
  • Ability to use leading CRM platforms for customer acquisition, existing customer management and reporting

Qualifications


  • Sales, Marketing, and Negotiation skills
  • Client Relationship Management and Customer Service skills
  • Experience in meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
