Release Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Release Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate the deployment of projects related to corporate change initiatives, impacting various business units and processes. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects under pressure, setting priorities, and ensuring the smooth release of new features and updates.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate release deployment plans, ensuring alignment with change policies and process standards.
• Facilitate meetings to communicate deployment plans, provide status updates, and review releases, including critical release weekends and key project deliveries.
• Gather and provide guidance on the latest change policies and process standards.
• Support projects involving corporate change, collaborating with different business units and senior leadership.

Core Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technology or engineering field.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, Visio), ITSM Remedy, JIRA, Cutover, Tableau, and MicroStrategy.
• Strong ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and set appropriate priorities.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, flexible, and results-driven with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas, concerns, and reports to various levels of management.
• High-level technical knowledge to assess requirements and develop deployment plans.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the banking/financial sector, particularly in Payments, Liquidity, Trade Finance, or Credit products.
• PMI PMP, Prince2, or ITIL certification.
• Experience with both Waterfall and Lean Agile methodologies.
