Job Solutions Ltd are delighted to be assisting our long term client with their recruitment for a long term Mixing Operative to join their growing, professional team.
Daily Duties will include:-

• Operating equipment:Operate mixing equipment to blend ingredients according to formulas
• Monitoring and adjusting:Monitor and adjust the blending process to ensure consistent product quality
• Maintenance:Perform regular maintenance on mixing equipment
• Troubleshooting:Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the mixing equipment
• Record keeping:Keep accurate records of production activities
• Cleaning:Clean mixers and material systems for product changes and shutdowns
• Safety:Maintain a safe working environment for self and others
• Documentation:Ensure all relevant paperwork is up to date
• Working practices:Ensure that required standards of working practices are consistently met
• Personal protective equipment:Wear and correctly use the required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Essential Skills:

• Good English speaking and written
• Good arithmetic
• Attention to detail
• Physically fit and very aware of manual handling requirements for a role that involves heavy and awkward lifting
• Used to and familiar with working as part of a team
• Used to working in manufacturing production warehouse environment
• Previous experience using pallet trucks

Desirable:

• Previous experience in Chemical industry
• COSHH awareness
• Forklift and pallet truck experience
