Fire Alarm Engineer

Fire Alarm Engineer | Devon | Full Time | £30,,000, depending on experience

Being a small company, this means that every member of the team whether it be within the office or out in the field plays an important role within the organisation.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Design, installation, commissioning & maintenance certification
• Experience in servicing / remedial works, of those systems
• Good knowledge of emergency lighting systems
• Good knowledge and awareness of BS5839, BS5266 and LACORS
• The ability to work well alone, and as part of the team
• Excellent communication skills with the whole of the team
• Excellent customer service skills
• A full UK driving licence

What will your role look like?

• Service, maintenance & installation of fire alarm and emergency lighting systems
• Liaise with the booking office to fully prepare for the works required
• Be prepared to respond to reactive works when issued by the office
• Contributing to the on-call rota
• Respond to call outs (local Devon & Cornwall area only)
• Maintain kit, stock levels and conditions
• Maintain presentation and running of an issued vehicle
• Being prepared to support the team when required
