Superintendent in Fort Myers, FL

Job Description

A rapidly growing commercial general construction company based in Orlando, FL, is expanding its footprint across the southeastern United States, focusing on the car wash, petroleum, retail, and self-storage industries.

The company is urgently seeking experienced onsite Superintendents to manage ground-up and remodel projects throughout Florida. The Superintendent will oversee all aspects of onsite construction, including:

• Coordinating and supervising all construction activities.
• Directing field personnel and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet all quality standards.
• Maintaining the construction schedule and proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
• Scheduling and managing required inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Compiling and managing an ongoing punch-list throughout construction.
• Promoting job site safety and ensuring the site is clean and presentable at all times.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction.
• Willingness to travel is a significant advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a systematic approach to project management.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and field personnel.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including email, creating RFIs, and completing daily reports; familiarity with Microsoft Project is a plus.
• Experience with RedTeam is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 90-105K per year
