Job Description

The primary duty of the Supercharger Commercial Construction manager is to oversee project teams (in-house Installers, subcontractors and vendors) and their performance. The Construction Managers responsibility is to ensure that the project meets all quality standards and is conducted in a safe manner while reporting to the Department Manager and assigned Project Manager focused on schedule and budget. Even with these secondary functions, this role should spend most of their time onsite and engaged in management duties as outlined above.

* Oversee and manage project teams (in-house, subcontractors and vendors)
* May have direct reports. Review and understand all specifications of the project
* Create site plan, mobilize and demobilize jobsites accordingly. Schedule and receive material deliveries, track inventory and order missing equipment and tools
* Coordinate, manage and direct onsite personnel, vendors, and subcontractors. Review the work progress on a daily basis and prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
* Ensure project documentation is current and present in the assigned locations. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
* Identify, mitigate, and manage risks. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
* Keep all parties onsite and offsite well informed throughout the project, on track, maintaining timelines and aware of deadlines. Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and reporting of all incidents
* 5+ years working experience in construction management including record of stellar leadership, organization and communication. Ability to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time
* Journeyman's Electrical License desirable. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Project and Excel
* 2 or more years of underground/ civil experience
* Competent in conflict and crisis management. Enjoys and thrives while learning and problem solving
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills. A team player with an ability to lead. Competent in conflict and crisis management. Conducts themselves in a professional manner on and off the clock
* OSHA 30 hours - CPR-first aid preferred. Knowledge of safety standards set by NEC and NFPA70E. Experience in equipment operation
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs. from the ground and pull 50 lbs. of force. Perform ladder climbing, wire pulling, and conduit pulling. Fully squat, stoop or kneel while wearing a 25 lbs. tool belt. Maintain a standing position for long periods while performing repetitive actions such as grasping or manipulating wires. Work off ladders, man lifts or reach booms
