Global Financial Controller

We have partnered with the UK division of a global Supply Chain business to recruit a Global Financial Controller to based at their Head Office in Dudley. Reporting to the Finance Director your primary responsibility will be to support their global teams and parent company to ensure efficient financial management. The main emphasis will be around the consolidation of financial information from multiple international entities. You will also assist with budgets and forecasts, cash management, audit preparation and business partnering. You will have the support for a European Finance Manager and a number of Finance Assistants.

Salary £65,000 - £75,000p/a + Car + Bonus

The business is experiencing significant growth and are undertaking a number of international projects you will also be heavily involved in. These will include the creation of a finance SSC, the creation of multiple European legal entities and an overhaul of their ERP system.

Brief overview of responsibilities:

• Manage month-end close activities and financial reporting.
• Manage Inventory/cash management and capex reporting.
• Play a pivotal role in the budgeting and forecasting process,
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
• Analyse financial data, identify trends, and recommend actions, monitor adherence to the budget and cost-saving targets.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost controls.
• Review and approve purchase orders, payment runs, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Effectively communicate financial information to non-finance teams.
• Build strong working relationships within the finance team and across functions.
• Ensure financial accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations.

To be considered you will be fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with extensive experience in an international, fast-paced business that holds a lot of stock. Any experience in setting up an SSC and systems implementation will be a distinct advantage.
