Do you have strong site management experience in a large scale 3P warehousing operation? Are you a confident leader with a keen eye for detail and eagerness for continuous improvement? Do you have what it takes to manage an omnichannel operation (retail, home fulfilment and ecomm) with over 1,300 colleagues, reaching 1,800+ in peak?

Here at GXO Logistics, weve teamed up with the electrical retail giants Currys, as their 3PL partner, and were looking for a Campus General Manager to oversee two 750,000 sq ft buildings at site in Newark.

Youll lead the site to success, in a customer-facing role, with a big focus on change management and automation implementation. Even though you'llbe contracted to Monday - Friday, this is a 24/7 operation andyoull need to offer a level of flexibility in terms of working hours no twoweeks are the same,this is logistics after all!

Pay, benefits and more:

Youll be paid a salary of up to £90,000 per annum, youll also receive 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance. What youll do on a typical day:

  • Manage the site leadership team, ensuring all KPIs across the business are consistently met
  • Liaise and build rapport with the customer to allow for collaborative working and the defining ofshared goals and objectives
  • Lead the change management on site, with a focus on CI, innovation, and automation implementation
  • Ensure the overall smooth running of the operation acrossthe 1.5 million sq ft campus

What you need to succeed at GXO

  • Experience atSite Managerlevel in a large-scale3PL operation
  • Strong financial acumen - youll be accountable for a multi-million-pound budget
  • Strong knowledge of different variables of operational flow, including warehouse automation and implementation
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, with exposure to driving change and implementing a CI culture
