First things first,?how much?

We pay?£27,013for a 37.5-hour week. There's also opportunity to work overtime when?required.

Youll be primarily based within West Yorkshire, but may need to travel across the whole of Yorkshire when?required.

As our Facilities Maintenance Operative youll be a hands-on problem solver with a keen eye for detail, ensuring our customers are safe and compliant in their homes.

What?youll?be doing

As our Facilities Maintenance Operative, youll be at the heart of ensuring our properties are safe, compliant, and well-maintained. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting cyclical EET testing and communal fire alarm checks.
  • Testing and replacing domestic smoke alarms.
  • Performing health and safety checks in communal areas, including emergency lighting and fire doors.
  • Acting as the eyes and ears of Yorkshire Housing, reporting any disrepair or damage.
  • Supporting the Electrical team with lighting upgrades and commercial testing.

What do we need from you?

  • A full UK driving licence.
  • A methodical approach to work and record-keeping.
  • IT savvy with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility in working hours and a proactive attitude towards personal development.

Bonuspointsfor:

  • Recognised qualifications or experience in EET Testing.
  • Electrical maintenance experience.
  • A background in practical maintenance or repairs.
