Position:Estates & Facilities Compliance Coordinator
Location:Ferham House, Rotherham, S61 1AJ
Contract type:Full time, 40 hours
Rate:£30,385 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to join our rapidly growing organisation as a Estates & Facilities Compliance Coordinator

We are looking for a highly organised individual who thrives in a fast paced environment to support the Estates & Facilities function of the business.

About the Role

You will be working within a small, yet established team reporting to the Head of Estates.

The role is to co-ordinate and assist in the service delivery and management of all estate activities ensuring safety and performance standards are exceeded, arranging contractor visits, quotations, liaising with internal and external stakeholders as necessary. Ensuring the business is provided with a compliant, reliable service that achieves value for money and meets the operational needs of the homes.

This is a varied role with no two days the same, giving you exposure to services across the group portfolio, with a primary focus on both monitoring Health and Safety and property standards.

About the role:

  • assist Head of Estates in all aspects of service delivery including contractor and supplier management
  • co-ordinate estate activities, work direction and support systems
  • assist Head of Estates in all aspects of project delivery
  • provide administrative support to the Estates Team
  • co-ordinate and assist in management of repairs, costs and any material requirements
  • set up, maintain, and organise and manage department's central files, information, filing
  • finance and service contract support
  • co-ordinate and assist in the management of compliance and health and safety service delivery, liaising closely with our H&S team
  • provide timely communication to internal teams/homes, along with contractors and suppliers
  • liaise and organise servicing requirements for each home and their one care facility as required, on quarterly, six monthly or annual basis
  • ensure all required compliance documentation is saved / uploaded as required, including all job sheets and service reports from contractors attending jobs
  • ensure all maintenance and repair works are completed within budget and agreed time frames
  • maintain close working relationships with all internal and external parties.

What well need from you:

  • skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel and Outlook
  • subject lead on CAFM system (Concerto)
  • experienced in a fast-paced contact role serving multiple stakeholders
  • able to establish and maintain record systems including data management
  • experience within Healthcare desirable but not essential
  • working experience in a similar role desirable but not essential
  • knowledge of facility management or an awareness off
  • have an excellent customer service background, with experience of working in a customer focused environment
  • results/ task orientated, attention to detail and accuracy
  • have good people skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • have strong organisational and planning skills
  • hold a full UK driving licence and have access to transport.
