Role SummaryAs aFire &Security Service & Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for completing preventive, reactive, and remedial works on integrated electronic fire and security systems across domestic and commercial properties in London. This role requires a professional approach and adherence to industry regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- System Maintenance: Deliver high-standard maintenance services for integrated fire and security systems.
- Small Works/Repairs: Conduct repairs and small works on domestic and commercial properties.
- Asset Management: Complete asset logs of equipment on-site.
- Time Management: Manage your workload throughout the day to ensure timely job completion.
- Communication: Report to the office daily and communicate effectively.
- Client Interaction: Maintain professionalism when dealing with clients face-to-face.
- Working Hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Knowledge & Experience Required
- System Expertise: In-depth knowledge of fire and security systems and relevant British Standards.
- Relevant Qualifications: NSI, LPCB, C&G, or equivalent certifications.
- Preventative Maintenance: Understanding and ability to perform preventative maintenance to current standards.
- Customer Service: Excellent customer-facing skills with a professional demeanor.
- Teamwork: Ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Multi-tasking: Experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Technical Experience: Prior experience with CCTV and Access Control systems is essential. Experience with Entrotec systems and fire alarms is advantageous.
General Requirements
- Industry Experience: Experience within the construction industry and/or Fire & Security systems.
- Background Check: Clear criminal record and ability to pass a CRB/DBS check, as required in the security industry.
- Policy Adherence: Familiarize with and uphold company policies, including Equal Opportunities and Anti-Harassment and Bullying Policies.
- Proactivity: Contribute ideas and suggestions for business improvement.
- Training & Meetings: Attend required training sessions and staff meetings.
- Health & Safety: Follow health and safety procedures to ensure personal and colleague safety.
- Flexibility: Be willing to take on other duties and responsibilities as required to meet business needs.
Benefits
- Salary: £37,000 - £42,000 (dependent on experience).
