Salary: £28K - £32K (DOE) + benefits
Core Hours: Mon - Fri 08:45-17:00hrs

Our client is one of the UK leading utility suppliers, servicing a large number of customers in England, Scotland & Wales. As part of the Planning Team, you will be responsible for providing a delivery plan which maximises the utilisation of the companys fleet to meet customer requirements.
As the Planner, your duties will include;
- Planning loads, working with a computerised routing, and scheduling tools to ensure loads are efficiently planned.
- Create a delivery plan which is achievable whilst working within all legislation requirements, including driver hours, WTD.
- Reviewing routes to ensure transport is planned cost effectively to minimise costs.
- Ensuring planning works in conjunction with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Liaising with intercompany department such as Sales, Customer Services, Engineering and Site Safety.
- Produce weekly / monthly KPIs and reports as directed by your line manager.
- Proactively work with the forecast demand planner to manage the order book (Forecast / Order planning).
- Maintenance of system data and its integrity.
- Ensure sufficient product is available for the following week and plan to deliver to sites accordingly.
As the successful Planner, you will have the following skills/experience;
- Must have previous Transport or Production Planning experience.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- An understanding of driver working time regulations (desirable but not essential)
- Knowledge of computerised route planning tool experience (desirable but not essential)
- Good attention to detail and quality
- Able to multi-task and work under pressure
- Must be self-motivated with a "can do" approach to achieving requirements.
