HGV Class 1 Tramper

Staffpower Group are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers.

This role is to work in the Gateshead and/or Washington areas.

We are looking for candidates who can work the below shifts:

• Days
• Nights
• Weekend
• Nights Out

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Trunking, locals, and tramping available
• Daily vehicle checks and accurate defect reporting.
• Ensure vehicle maintenance requirements are followed.
• Planning your route on a daily or weekly basis
• Loading and securing loads
• Keeping the installation and site teams up to date on delivery times
• Always comply with on-site health and safety requirements
• Ensure the safe loading/unloading of deliveries
• Ensure good customer service on Client sites
• Ensure compliance with all HGV driving rules
• To be available for work outside standard hours in line with client requirements with the ability to travel nationally on a regular basis.
• Any other duties as reasonably requested by management to assist the operation of the business.

CANDIDATES MUST;

• Must have a full, clean UK driving licence
• Must also hold a full CPC licence along with your Digi Tacho card
• Experience in working in a fast-paced environment with experience of driving a commercial vehicle
• Hard working and dedicated individuals with a can-do attitude
• The Ability to work alone and as part of a team
• A Proven track record of driving vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
• MUST be able to understand details of a Lift Plan/s
