Job Description

The British Hamper Company are looking for E-Commerce Sales Reps for Fixed-Term Temporary Contracts for our Christmas period (October to December) paying £13.00 per hour for having fun selling Christmas Hampers to corporate and consumer customers.

As we enter our busiest time of year – the Christmas gifting season, we are excited to recruit for and welcome 4 new members to the team to help us achieve our goals!

E-Commerce Sales Reps

Based at our offices in Lincoln working Monday to Friday between the hours of 9.00am and 5.30pm through October to December.

Our E-Commerce Sales Reps play a vital role as a Ecommerce Team, by making outbound sales calls to companies and consumers and providing our consumer/corporate customers with premium customer service.

You will be motivated, outgoing, personable and effective, with the kind of personality to enjoy prospecting/ selling and enjoy exceeding customer expectations.

Your primary sales task will be to make outbound calls to existing customers and prospective customers to acquire new business and assist existing customers over the Christmas season. For this you must be motivated, enthusiastic and confident on the phone.

Administrative tasks include order processing from our e-commerce platform, creating quotes, email enquiry handling and attentive and proactive client liaison to resolve such things as order queries.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work efficiently in a fun fast-paced sales team environment.

You will work closely with other departments, particularly with our Customer Experience Team and Operations Team.

A confident, professional telephone manner, excellent communication/interpersonal skills, proven IT and general administration competences would all be advantageous.

Experience in making sales calls is preferred but not essential as training will be given.
