Location: Summertown, Oxford

Hours: 37.5

Salary: £28,000 to £30,000

Hybrid / WFH: 2 days office based, 3 days from home.

A PR Week Top 150 consultancy, BLUE is expanding its team of motivated, intelligent, and dynamic communications professionals due to the growing demand for our services. We are looking for an ambitious Junior Digital Marketing Manager to support the delivery of world-class digital marketing services to BLUE’s global portfolio of clients.


Junior Digital Marketing Manager


Working as an integral role within the Digital Marketing department and reporting to the Digital Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day deliverables of BLUE and BLUE client digital marketing programmes. You will work with account teams to ensure digital output meets overarching marcomms objectives and supports the wider PR/communications and brand strategies.

Main Objectives:

  • Become the established main point of contact for digital marketing clients on a day-to-day basis
  • Manage multiple projects of varying scope and size, utilising your experience and intuition to prioritise effectively
  • Translate agreed digital marketing strategies and programmes into effective tactical implementation that meets and exceeds client expectations
  • Monitor the delivery of activity against agreed programme KPIs and staff resource
  • Combine digital marketing skills and creativity with knowledge of the client and industry to identify digital
  • marketing tactics, target audiences and keywords that deliver against each programme’s communications objectives
  • Mentor digital marketing executives, motivate them to deliver excellent results, and help them to realise their full potential as digital marketing professionals and members of the BLUE team


Applicants must have the following essential skills and experience:


  • Client facing account management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms with a proven track record of implementing organic and paid social media marketing strategies
  • SEO knowledge and experience
  • Proficient in keyword research and search trend analysis
  • Capable of managing and executing the implementation of SEO strategies
  • Experience with planning and executing Google Ads - search and display campaigns
  • Knowledge and experience using Google Analytics and Social Media insights to monitor, report and analyse results to continue to improve performance
  • Experience of delivering digital media campaigns
  • Experienced in delivering e-marketing campaigns
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with clients and colleagues on the day-to-day deliverables.




The ideal candidate will also have:


· Experience in the B2B sector

· Agency experience with the ability to work efficiently across multiple client accounts

· Digital content writing experience

· Google tag manager experience

· Website content management

· Basic HTML/CSS skills

· Digital design skills

· Experience using Hubspot
